Occupational Medicine (Organic solvents, Lead) Related Test
The occupational medicine-related test is mainly intended to
regularly check the level of organic solvents or lead intake
in the living body for organic solvents and lead workers.
Therefore, the evaluation of the results requires a comprehensive judgment including the work environment,
rather than the one intended to differentiate normality and abnormality.
In addition, each Regulation on Prevention of Poisoning based on the Industrial Safety
and Health Act stipulates that each report of the results of a medical examination shall
be submitted to the Chief of the Labour Standard Inspection Offices in charge.

Since November 2014, styrene, trichloroethylene, and tetrachloroethylene have been positioned
from the subjects of the Regulation on Prevention of Organic Solvent Poisoning to
those of the Regulation on Prevention of Hazards due to Specified Chemical Substances.
