How to submit comprehensive analysis for malignant lymphoma "ML-NET" v2
Please submit your specimen on the same day it is collected.
Please collect the tissue aseptically.
Divide the collected tissue into three parts.
The divided tissue (a) should be placed in a special container (H20)
in a sterile manner and stored in a refrigerator.
The divided tissue (b) may be used for genetic testing,
so please place it in a special container (VP0) filled
with 10% neutral buffered formalin in a sterile manner,
fix it, and store it at room temperature.
The divided tissue (c) should be placed aseptically
in a sterile tube (ARR) and immediately frozen for storage.
About comprehensive analysis for malignant lymphoma "ML-NET" v2
Pathological tissue tests include HE, CD3, and CD20 (L-26).
Cell surface marker tests are performed using the following monoclonal antibodies
with CD45-SSC gating.
One FISH test selected by ML-NET doctor will be performed.
(If diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is suspected, three tests,
MYC, BCL2, and BCL6, may be performed.)
In addition, if DLBCL is suspected in a recurrent case
in an already diagnosed case at the time of initial onset,
the submitting physician may select the DLBCL 3-item set.
The 3 items MYC, BCL2, and BCL6 will be performed.
One genetic testing (immune-related gene rearrangement) selected
by ML-NET doctor will be performed.
If you would like to specify a gene to be tested, please select one
from either IGH chain JH rearrangement or TCR β chain C β1 rearrangement.
Priority of items
If the number of cells in the sample received is not enough,
we will not perform all tests. In this case, we will perform the tests
in the following order: FCM malignant lymphoma analysis 1,
FCM malignant lymphoma analysis 2, FISH test
(MYC, BCL2, BCL6 in the case of DLBCL 3-item set),
and chromosome G-Banding test.
For cases where it is difficult to judge with these tests,
we will contact you to propose additional tests. However,
if the diagnosis is follicular lymphoma (FL),
we will perform EZH2 gene mutation analysis as an additional test for all cases.
Please note that additional tests will be charged separately.
